Nidek ZC 185

The ZC 185 is a quality instrument that detects and displays radio frequency (RF) signal levels with uniquely high sensitivity, similar to a broadband receiver. It is easy to sue and operates over a broad span of freuqencies from 3 MHz to 5 GHz. This multi-purpose instrument can be utilized to detect:

Ham radios, FRS walkie talkies, CB, VHF, UHF and transmission line leakage from wires and cables
Hidden transmitting cameras and phone bugs, sureveillance equipment and covert microphones
Cell and wireless phones, microwave ovens, transmitting security and baby-monitoring devices,electronic car keys and garage door openers

FEATURES:

3 Detection Modes:
     -- Linear: For long distance detection of the weakest signals (12dB range)
     -- Mid: For intermediate strength signals (25 dB)
     -- Log: For locating and pinpointing the transmitting source (60 dB)
Analog Meter and LED Displays - maximum readability, even with changing signal strength. The LEDs allow measurements viewed from a distance and at nighttime
Analog-Digital Signal Differentiation - Distinguishes digital from analog signals. Detects and measures digital signals
80 hours of operation using 2 AA aldaline batteries

Three models to select. Ultra sensitive Model 270 available with or without external 1.8 ~ 6.4 GHz directional antenna. 3 detection modes - Linear (most sensitive), Log (broadest signal strength indicator) and Mid (high sensitivity with broad signal detection). Analog meter plus LED displays (nighttime detection) plus silent vibrator for discrete alert to bug.
