Helium Neon (HeNe) Lasers

These lasers have the same great features as diode lasers with powers ranging from 0.5 mw to 3.5 milliwatts. The helium neon laser with its wavelength stability and long coherence length is ideal for:

Holograph and interferometricy
AM/FM radio transmission
Diffraction
Single and double slit experiments

In addition, this laser can be used to conduct regular laser, optics and fiber optic experiments such as refraction, reflection, Tyndall's light-guiding in water, scattering of light, critical angle determination, convergence and divergence of lenses, polarization of light.
